Should you wish to, you’re able to make lump sum or regular overpayments on your mortgage. If you choose to do this, an early repayment charge may apply if this payment is made within the period that early repayment charges are applicable. If you do wish to make an early repayment, you’ll need to confirm the following to us:

  • You’re making a payment to repay the mortgage either fully or partially
  • That you wish us to use that payment to reduce the balance on which we charge interest.

If we don’t receive the information above, the overpayments will not reduce the balance on which we charge interest or cause a change to your monthly payment.

This depends on the type of mortgage you hold with us. Please review your original mortgage terms and conditions to see if your current mortgage is able to be transferred to a new property. If it can be transferred please call us on 0800 298 5714 to discuss next steps. If it’s not possible to transfer your mortgage we’d recommend you speak with your financial adviser who’ll be able to look at the most appropriate options for you. If you’d like to request a redemption statement from us please call our customer support team on 0800 298 5714.
